As I step into 2026, I want to add a new feature to my work here by offering a new service called Just Say It. I have often been told by my clients that they like to write down the way I phrase difficult conversations in rehearsal sessions I often do as prep for difficult conversations in the workplace.
I want to offer a place where our community can Just Say It and I will work with you to refine the message for listenability, clarity and impact all laced with kindness for the best result for all. You aren't putting off the conversations because it doesn't need to be done. I find people put the most powerful, potentially conflictual dialogues off because they have not refined the message or they fear reaction (theirs or the others). I love bridging these gaps to get past these stuck points in the workplace so Just Ask Jill is my motto for 2026.
Recently a labor attorney friend of mine said "Jill, I just don't have the diplomacy skills you have with executives and their teams. "Just Say It" will be a place where we can explore difficult conversations that are being put off in the workplace together.
I would love your questions, situations, issues here and have a few ways to kick things off. Just answer these 3 questions and send to me or reply here. I am finalizing a tool to do this directly on the Hidaji Advisory website (stay tuned):
Q1 What conversation you have been avoiding in your work?
Q2 What are you most afraid will happen if you speak up?
Q3 What becomes possible if you finally say it?
